Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Maintain organized digital financial records and documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (CPA or EA a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel
- Proven track record with multi-client portfolio management
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
