Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow reporting
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client portfolios
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Manage sales tax filings and payroll processing for diverse client bases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with multiple priorities
- CPA or relevant certification (e.g., CB) highly desirable
