Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems
- Coordinate with external auditors during tax seasons
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expert knowledge of Excel with pivot tables/VLOOKUP
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong attention to detail with error-free work
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in high-volume environments
