Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll accurately and timely using ADP or similar platforms.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the annual budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 3+ years in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax filings (1099s, W2s).
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
