Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly/annual filings
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA preferred)
- CPA or advanced certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities for client/stakeholder interactions
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage 100/300 a plus)
