Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly/quarterly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with tax professionals during audits
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Provide financial analysis for strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping in a public/private setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
