Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-company general ledger accounts with precision
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage sales/use tax compliance and quarterly payroll tax filings
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for client efficiency
- Collaborate with tax department to ensure seamless audit preparation
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced functions)
- Demonstrated success with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of sales/use tax regulations in Florida
- Proven ability to manage confidential financial data with integrity
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
