Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries monthly
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings for Georgia-based clients
- Assist with annual audits and provide documentation as needed
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs on tax preparation and strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Georgia state tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts with competing deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
