Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L and balance sheets.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow projections.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communicate financial status, updates, and concerns to management clearly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
