What You Will Do:
Our ideal candidate is proficient in modern accounting software and possesses a strong eye for detail. You will be responsible for the full cycle of bookkeeping tasks, from data entry to financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Perform monthly inventory counts and general ledger reconciliations.
- Communicate financial findings to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
