Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile multi-entity accounts payable/receivable using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee payroll processing for 50+ employees and independent contractors
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals for annual reporting
- Optimize accounting workflows using provided automation tools
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices and software utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-state operations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel with macros
- Expertise in sales/use tax compliance and payroll regulations
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting accuracy
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or Xero required
- Experience with cloud-based document management systems
