Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance for multiple clients
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems for new clients
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season preparations
- Develop financial forecasting models and cash flow management strategies
- Train junior staff on accounting software and financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multi-client portfolios with conflicting deadlines
- Familiarity with Texas sales tax regulations and payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Strong communication skills for client-facing financial consultations
