Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including AP/AR, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate general ledger with QuickBooks Desktop Pro
- Coordinate tax filings and documentation for CPA review
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Support annual audits and budget forecasting processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity companies
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Virginia tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines with 100% accuracy
