Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) for 15+ clients
- Process payroll using ADP and QuickBooks Payroll
- Oversee sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement financial controls to prevent fraud
- Train junior bookkeepers on company procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros)
- Experience with multi-state sales tax compliance
- Proven track record of reducing month-end close time by 20%
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
