Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse business clients
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Prepare financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax remittance
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks accounting systems
- Support year-end audits and tax preparation processes
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multi-client portfolios
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced QuickBooks certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
