Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses with executive-ready insights
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures with meticulous attention to detail
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and annual tax preparation
- Lead training initiatives for junior bookkeeping staff
- Optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel with VBA knowledge
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification highly valued
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and Florida tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with proven experience in forensic accounting
- Excellent communication abilities for client relationship management
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines
