Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients across various industries
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with actionable insights
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex intercompany transactions
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly/annual filings
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and software optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping in a multi-client environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel with advanced formulas
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven experience with payroll systems (ADP/QuickBooks Payroll)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (0% error tolerance)
- Excellent communication abilities for client reporting and team collaboration
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
