Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) using QuickBooks Online
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for Louisiana-based clients
- Implement internal controls and process improvements
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit season
- Maintain compliance with Louisiana state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Louisiana tax codes
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Professional certification (QuickBooks ProAdvisor, CB) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
