Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounting systems using QuickBooks Enterprise
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement and optimize internal controls for financial reporting
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expertise in multi-state payroll tax compliance
- Certification in QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
