Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for 15+ clients
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios monthly
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with NC state regulations
- Manage QuickBooks Online implementations and training for new clients
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Develop custom financial reports to support client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and NC tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
