Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 clients including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports with precise attention to detail
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with California state regulations
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support year-end audits and financial analysis
- Provide proactive financial insights to clients through quarterly business reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of California tax laws, sales tax requirements, and payroll regulations
- Proven track record of managing complex financial reporting for diverse industries
