Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounts using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, P&L reports, and cash flow analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 3-way matching protocols
- Coordinate with CPAs for quarterly tax filings and annual audits
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity and compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Expert-level Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
