Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Process multi-entity payroll and quarterly tax filings for 50+ clients
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with strict deadline adherence
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Lead month-end closing procedures within tight deadlines
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel VLOOKUP/PivotTables
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation or equivalent
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error reconciliation history
- Strong analytical skills for financial anomaly detection
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
