Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse business entities using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Process payroll for 50+ employees and ensure tax compliance
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex inter-company transactions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPA firm for tax preparation and audit support
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (including VLOOKUPs)
- Proven track record in payroll processing and tax compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with construction or manufacturing industries a plus
