Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-client general ledger accounts with 100% accuracy
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ clients
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies for diverse business structures
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit preparations and tax season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in GAAP principles and multi-state compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and financial modeling
- Proven track record of managing 10+ client portfolios simultaneously
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
