Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure financial compliance with GAAP
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights
- Collaborate with CFOs and external auditors during tax seasons
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in senior bookkeeping or accounting roles
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Experience with forensic accounting or financial audits a plus
