Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse SMB clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll with tax compliance
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for client efficiency
- Coordinate annual tax preparation documentation with CPAs
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero-tolerance for errors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expertise in multi-state payroll processing (ADP preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
