Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity general ledger accounts with precision
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with tax preparation teams for seamless fiscal year transitions
- Mentor junior bookkeeping staff and process documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years progressive experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CPA designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and FASB standards
- Proven track record in financial statement analysis
- Exceptional problem-solving and client communication skills
- Experience in financial services or non-profit sectors
