Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and financial statements
- Process complex payroll and tax filings for diverse business entities
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for multi-client portfolios
- Prepare month-end closing reports and variance analysis
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP/IRS regulations
- Develop financial forecasting models and cash flow projections
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping in public accounting
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (FL focus)
- CPA or Enrolled Agent designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Proven ability to manage 20+ client portfolios simultaneously
