Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile multi-client accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Process complex payroll cycles including multi-state tax compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends
- Prepare month-end closing reports with variance analysis
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals for annual reviews
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial archives
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
