Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliation processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems
- Collaborate with CPAs on audit preparation and financial strategy
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation required
- Expertise in multi-currency transactions and international accounting
- Proven track record of managing 20+ client portfolios
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions
