Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare month-end closing reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor/client relationships
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Implement and improve accounting systems and internal controls
- Assist with audits and financial statement preparation
- Train junior accounting staff on financial procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in finance sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international finance
- Ability to manage confidential financial data with discretion
