Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with detailed variance analysis for executive leadership
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with federal/state financial regulations
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Coordinate annual audits and provide supporting documentation to external auditors
- Develop financial reports for operational decision-making and strategic planning
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records with strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in fast-paced environments
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
