Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process payroll and manage tax filings for multiple business entities
- Generate financial statements and monthly performance reports
- Oversee accounts receivable/payable cycles and cash flow management
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize accounting workflows
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Texas state regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with Texas businesses
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation required
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Texas CPA license preferred
