Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process payroll bi-weekly using ADP ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Oversee sales tax filings and bank reconciliations
- Implement and improve accounting systems using QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years experience with full-cycle bookkeeping in a public accounting or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Tennessee tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage confidential financial data with discretion
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for reconciling discrepancies
