Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse SMB clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate quarterly tax filings and year-end financial audits
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and sales tax compliance (FL)
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and financial reporting tools
- CPA or pursuing CPA designation preferred
- Proven track record of reducing month-end close by 20%+
