This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration at our downtown Columbus location with remote flexibility. You'll be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining client trust through exceptional financial stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for clients
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly filings
- Provide financial analysis to support business growth strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Experience with multi-client accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
