Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounting systems using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow forecasting
- Coordinate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Implement and optimize internal financial controls
- Train junior bookkeepers on software and best practices
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and year-end closings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced spreadsheet functions
- Experience with multi-state sales tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential financial data
- Proven track record in improving accounting workflows
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
