Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Prepare sales tax filings and financial reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and payroll processing
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with zero tolerance for errors
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a client-facing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
