Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow) with detailed variance analysis
- Oversee QuickBooks implementation and optimization for new clients
- Coordinate sales tax filings and ensure compliance with NC state regulations
- Develop custom reporting dashboards for client financial performance tracking
- Lead month-end closing processes and audit support documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting systems
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Familiarity with NC tax regulations and sales compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation experience
