Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and management summaries
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles and payroll processing
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, CPB) preferred
