Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles accurately
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and improve internal financial controls and processes
- Collaborate with tax professionals for compliance documentation
- Provide financial insights to support client decision-making
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Xero a plus)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Experience with sales tax filing in Nevada
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
