Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations
- Process complex accounts payable/receivable with multi-currency transactions
- Prepare financial statements and management reports under GAAP
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits and tax season
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with tech industry clients
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced knowledge of sales/use tax regulations in CA
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Experience with multi-entity accounting structures
- Proven ability to meet month-end deadlines consistently
