Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounts using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with 3-way matching protocols
- Oversee payroll processing for 15-20 employees quarterly
- Assist with sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Implement and optimize internal accounting controls
- Support annual audits and tax preparation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel Advanced functions
- Proven track record of managing month-end close cycles
- Experience with sales tax compliance (CA, NY, TX)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
