Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to midsize businesses
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and tax filings using QuickBooks Online
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
- Advise clients on cash flow optimization strategies
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge and tax compliance awareness
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
