Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with actionable insights
- Handle payroll processing and tax compliance (federal/state)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts monthly
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes with 98% accuracy
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping workflows for efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax seasons
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Expertise in payroll processing and multi-state compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Proven track record of managing 20+ accounts simultaneously
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Professional communication for client interactions
