The Opportunity: As our Senior Bookkeeper, you'll be the financial backbone for a diverse portfolio of clients. This full-time remote role combines autonomy with impact, allowing you to shape financial strategies while working from anywhere.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure GAAP compliance and implement internal controls
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audits
- Maintain organized digital financial records in cloud platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven track record with multi-client portfolio management
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong understanding of CA sales tax and payroll regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and deadline management
