Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts for 15+ clients
- Process bi-weekly payroll including tax filings and compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Prepare month-end closing reports and financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with aging analysis
- Implement QuickBooks optimization strategies for clients
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audit season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA candidates preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Proficiency in Xero and Sage 500 platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
