Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll and tax filings for Tennessee-based businesses
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts with 99% accuracy
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax season
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Tennessee payroll processing knowledge and tax compliance expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot table and VLOOKUP skills
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-client portfolio management
