Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll for 50+ employees
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee quarterly tax filings and compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero-tolerance errors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Proven track record of managing multi-company accounts
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with GAAP and tax compliance regulations
